Description
Life can change in a heartbeat ? When high school English teacher Richard Boyle comes face-to-face with an ex-student determined to commit an atrocity, his whole word changes. Thanks to his quick thinking, Richard averts a major tragedy and is hailed as a hero, with his face splashed across the media. But not all the attention coming his way is good ? Somewhere out there, a memory is triggered by someone watching the news of the incident. A plan is hatched. When Richard receives the first threat, it?s very clear - it?s time to talk about what you did to me ? As the situation spirals dangerously out of control, Richard is drawn into a fraught web of salacious accusations and deadly secrets. As he tries to uncover the truth, he discovers that there?s something deeply wrong in his town - and that he?s has landed smack in the middle of it. Richard is desperate to find a way out, but everyone in his life seems to be hiding something, and trusting the wrong person could cost him everything he loves ?.
